Many of those chemicals are anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, and anti-cancer. When we have enough fruit in our diet, cravings for sweet treats often lessen, so we can choose to eat them mindfully instead of struggling with an overwhelming urge to eat them. The bottom line?
