Honey Lemon Ginger Tea

This honey lemon ginger tea made with turmeric is full of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds to boost your immune system during the cold and flu season
  • Juice of 1 medium or half large lemon
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp freshly grated ginger
  • ½ tsp fresh (or ¼ tsp ground) turmeric
  • 8 ounces hot water
  • Pinch of freshly ground black pepper
  1. Put all the ingredients in a mug and stir well.
  2. Let stand for 5 minutes to let the ingredients steep.
  3. Drink right away, or store in a jar in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
  4. To re-heat, warm in a pan on the stove, or for 60 seconds in the microwave.
