Immune-Boosting Smoothie

- ¼ cup oats
- ¼ cup plain kefir*
- 1 cup raw spinach
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp ground flax seed
- ¼ tsp ground turmeric
- ¼ tsp freshly grated ginger
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 banana
- 1 cup water (or less if you want a thicker consistency)
- *Can substitute with plain non-fat yogurt with live and active cultures
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Drink straight away to minimize the loss of nutrients.
