After much deliberation, fear, and procrastination, I finally decided to change the name of my blog. When I started this journey, I wasn’t entirely sure where I was heading. I knew that I wanted to help people find a healthy diet that was right for them, but beyond that I was still unsure. As time has gone by and I have delved further and further into the world of nutrition, I have developed a far clearer idea of what it is I would like to achieve.
Food nourishes every part of us. It nourishes our bodies and our minds. Every cell in the human body is created and energized by the nutrients we put in. Therefore, helping someone work out what they should eat for optimal health must take into account the whole person. That includes every part of their physical being, their emotional being, and their lifestyle. Because this principle is at the very core of my nutrition philosophy, I wanted the word “whole” to be represented in the name of this blog. I also wanted to embody the idea that food should be nourishing, wholesome, and enjoyable.
And so The Wholesome Fork came to be.
If you would like to learn more about my philosophy, you can read about it here.
Love the new name and am really enjoying your blog! Thank you!
