Immune-Boosting Smoothie

A healthy blueberry oat spinach smoothie designed to give your immune system a boost.
Ingredients
  • ¼ cup oats
  • ¼ cup plain kefir*
  • 1 cup raw spinach
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seed
  • ¼ tsp ground turmeric
  • ¼ tsp freshly grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup water (or less if you want a thicker consistency)
  • *Can substitute with plain non-fat yogurt with live and active cultures
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Drink straight away to minimize the loss of nutrients.
